Purpose: It is used in large tires and off-road tire tread compounds based on natural rubber or isoprene rubber, as well as other rubber products that require higher elongation properties. It can also be used as coloring ink coating plastics.
Usage and effects: This product has a strong ability to adsorb accelerators in rubber compounds and has the effect of delaying vulcanization. The processing performance of its rubber is not as good as that of furnace carbon black, but compared with furnace carbon black with similar particle size, vulcanized rubber has extremely high tensile strength and elongation, and should have good tear resistance and cut resistance, but it has a certain elongation. The stress and wear resistance are lower than those of high wear-resistant furnace black, and the aging and cracking performance is not as good as furnace black. Channel carbon black produced from natural gas has extremely low surface polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon content, so it can be directly used in rubber products that come into contact with food.
